Will RANDY ORTON RETURN AT SUMMERSLAM?

The highly anticipated return of Randy Orton at WWE SummerSlam 2023 raises rumors of potential alliances and feuds.

Since May of last year, Randy Orton has been sidelined due to a catastrophic back injury that called for extensive spinal fusion surgery. Despite some retirement concerns, Orton is reportedly recovering and is getting closer to making his return to the ring.

It feels like the perfect place for such a monumental, eagerly awaited return of the Viper Randy Orton would be at WWE SummerSlam 2023.

At The Biggest Party of the Summer, LA Knight, SmackDown Superstar who is popular with the Fans due to his current gimmick, competes in a Battel Royal Match.

Following SummerSlam, there are rumors of a Huge push for the WWE SmackDown Superstar LA knight. A feud with the 14-time World Champion may open the way for this anticipated progression to make him an established singles star.

The future WWE Hall of Famer has a lot of options for his in-ring return. 

Orton might resume where he left off by continuing his alliance with Matt Riddle and reforming RK-Bro in addition to a program with LA Knight. The Viper could also turn on Riddle in order to spark a conflict with The Original Bro.

Fans, though, appear to have a strong preference. The 14-time World Champion is being pushed to turn on Cody Rhodes. Together, Orton and Rhodes have a rich history going back to their time in The Legacy in 2010.

Orton hugged his former Legacy teammates last year, but The Viper has always had a complicated personality. So, it wouldn't surprise us if he obstructed Rhodes from defeating Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam.
