BROCK LESNAR VS CODY RHODES FOR SUMMERSLAM IS NOW OFFICIAL

The biggest match of the Summer is now Official. Brock Lesnar will face Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam in a Rubber Match.

For months, the two men have been feuding. It starts On Raw after WrestleMania, Rhodes was suddenly ambushed by Brock Lesnar just as the two were about to team up against Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa in a tag team match. The Beast brutalized Rhodes to an unsettling degree, obliterating him with steel chairs.

The American Nightmare evened the score at WWE Backlash by defeating Brock Lesnar in an explosive match. However, the following night, Brock Lesnar attacked Rhodes again while The American Nightmare was competing in a tournament to determine the World Heavyweight Champion. At WWE Night of Champions, The Beast defeated Cody by applying the Kimura Lock to his opponent's already broken arm, causing Rhodes to pass out from pain.

After each competitor had defeated the other, Rhodes issued an open challenge to Brock Lesnar to return and tangle with him anytime and anyplace. Brock Lesnar made his return to Raw on July 3rd, kicking off an explosive brawl with Cody Rhodes that ended with The American Nightmare hitting The Beast with the Cody Cutter and sending him out of the ring.

Cody challenged Brock Lesnar to a rematch at SummerSlam, The Beast returned on Monday Night RAW to accept Cody's challenge to a match at SummerSlam. Brock responded by brutally attacking Cody in front of his family before sending a message to the latter's mother in the audience.

After months of heated feud, the two will now face off at The Biggest Party of the Summer in a rubber match. WWE has officially announced a singles match between Brock Lesnar and Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam.  SummerSlam is sure to be a must-see event. The card is stacked with top stars and big matches. It's shaping up to be one of the best SummerSlam in years.
